GRAGEPOLITAN– Ketua DPR RI Dr.(H.C) Puan Maharani menekankan adanya tugas dan tanggungjawab Negara untuk hadir dalam menyediakan tempat tinggal yang layak bagi warga negara.
Hal ini disampaikan Puan dalam acara Penyerahan Bantuan Stimulan Penyediaan Rumah Swadaya Individu Prasejahtera di Dusun Joho, Desa Giriwono, Wonogiri, Selasa 26 April.
Dalam kesempatan ini, Puan berdialog dengan 150 orang kepala rumah tangga yang mendapatkan bantuan. Total, ada 280 rumah yang menerima bantuan.
Setiap rumahnya mendapat bantuan sebesar Rp 35 juta dengan target renovasi selama 1 bulan.
“Rumah itu harus nyaman dan layak huni. Karena rumah itu tempat keluarga berkumpul, tempat suami istri memulai hidup berkeluarga, tempat anak-anak pertama dididik dan tumbuh,” kata Puan.
“Jadi kalau secara fisik saja sudah tidak layak, tentu akan turut mempengaruhi kehidupan keluarga yang menempatinya. Negara harus hadir dalam penyediaan tempat tinggal. Karena hak untuk bertempat tinggal warga negara Indonesia disebut jelas dalam UUD 1945,” lanjut Puan.
Puan menekankan aspek Rumah Layak Huni dalam program bantuan renovasi rumah ini. Puan berharap renovasi rumah ini bisa menjadikan penghuninya menerapkan gaya hidup sehat.
“Seharusnya rumah yang akan dibangun itu adalah rumah yang memang layak huni dengan ventilasi dan sirkulasi udara yang baik. Juga ada air dan listriknya. Nanti kalau sudah selesai, tolong dijaga rumahnya sebaik-baiknya. Tolong dipergunakan dengan sebaik-baiknya. Dan saya harap bisa bermanfaat bagi Bapak Ibu sekalian sekeluarga,” kata Puan.
Salah satu yang mendapat bantuan, Suyadi warga Joho Kidul, mengaku senang mendapat bantuan ini. Selama proses pengerjaan, Suyadi dan keluarga menumpang di rumah saudara terdekatnya.
Bagi Suyadi, ini berkah Ramadan karena selama ini ia dan 6 anggota keluarganya tinggal di rumah yang tidak layak huni.
“Renovasi sekitar 1-2 bulan, karena dirombak total. Jadi dibangun dari awal,” tutur Suyadi.
Program bantuan untuk rumah tidak layak huni ini berdasarkan SK Bupati Wonogiri tentang Penetapan Lokasi Perumahan Kumuh dan Permukiman Kumuh.
Lokasinya meliputi kawasan Krisak, Gerdu, Giriwono, Bulusulur, Pokoh Kidul, Sendang, Banaran, Wuryorejo, dan Baturetno.(G-06)
